How do I prepare for a Consultation?

Fill out the Client Intake Form in your email to jumpstart the process. This helps me to understand your space before we meet so we don't waste time during your consultation. Gather some inspiration photos and create a list of your questions.

What area of the country are In-home live consultations available?

My in-home consultation service is are in Northwest Pennsylvania and Southwest New York. Travel beyond 30 miles of Waterford, PA will incur a mileage charge, in addition to consultation fee. I have also done projects in 39 states and 3 countries, if you are interested in bearing the travel expenses.

Can I book an online consultation if I don't live in your area?

Absolutely! We offer comprehensive online consultations to cater to clients worldwide. Your initial call is $150 for a generous hour.

Can I learn how to do my own decorating?

Absolutely, I have spent over 40 years creating beautiful rooms for others. In 1999, as a result of many requests, I developed a variety of courses and seminars for those who wanted to turn their love for decorating into a profitable business. Decorating Tip-Shopping Smart for Home Decor

When shopping for home decor, it’s essential to shop with a plan as well as your heart. The biggest mistake that I see the DIY Decorator make is not understanding the importance of scale in a space. You might love a picture, but is it big enough to go over the sofa? Before you go shopping, get out a tape measure and notebook. Measure once, shop once. An easy rule to follow is the rule of two-thirds, try to fill 2/3 of the space over your "anchor" piece, in other words, the sofa, a sideboard, table. etc.

Once you have your measurement, use it as a reference for selecting special pieces that help create cohesive and curated look. But don't just buy something because "it fits" but it should also be something you love. This simple guideline will make the shopping process more easier.
